    REALLY AWESOME FREE MUSIC

htmiia_mixtape-450x450For a little more hype around How to Make it in America, Cudi and his crew have released this mixtape as if it were a roster of who’s who right now. But this is quite good, starting early with a current favorite, the remix of Dan Black’s “Symphonies” featuring Cudi, and touching on Chromeo, Lupe and Kenna’s Haiti track, and UK indie firecrackers Florence & The Machine and The XX, among others. In the intro, Cudi says the way to make it in America is to “cut through all the bullshit.” This mix sounds honors that statement.

BOX NO. 216 Premiere Color Journalism by Johnny Ramirez

    box-no-2161
l1030076-1Box No. 216, which is written by Johnny Ramirez and Allie Paronelli, a colorist and stylist at the Chris McMillan salon in Beverly Hills.
I believe that when we were kids we all had this amazing glow, our skin was the right tone, and our hair color complimented our skin tone and eye color. What I’ve done is every week I’ve surrounded myself with my 5 1/2 year old daughter and her friends. I’ve analyzed the beauty of natural hair color over and over. And because of this I’ve mastered, in my own way, how to make an adult’s hair color fade from dark at the roots to light on the ends with no line of demarcation. This applies to all hair color, whether it is blonde, red, or brunette.
I’m so grateful to say that Michael Canale trained me. He is a hair colorist that has been doing hair for over 30 years and still stands today. Believe me when I tell you that “YES” I have paid my dues…
I have obsessed and obsessed on re-duplicating kids hair color on adults to give adults back their youthful glow we once all had as kids. From being so tough on myself over the years I’ve become a perfectionist at delivering what I visualize will best compliment each individual client. Because I know that there are other people out there that are just as passionate about hair color, I have decided to write and document my hair color correction victories! I hope to help so many of you all over the world that are confused and tired of being stuck with the same old color you’ve had for years. And of course let’s not leave out the horror stories we all have had with our hair color.
For so many years I’ve always wanted to share my passion and the love that I have for hair color to seek out others that feel the same way I do.
    So I’ve created BOX No.216…
    ~Johnny
