For years engineers have struggled to create surfable, artificial waves (wave pools), the most popular being Typhoon Lagoon in Florida. Most of the time their attempts have yielded relentlessly gutless and mushy waves, that are hardly high performance. We are almost in 08 and they’re test models are weak. But once again it looks like Japan beat us to the punch.
