Perhaps the more distinctive collaboration this holiday season, the fashion world is certainly buzzed with interest since The New York Times disclosed the upcoming Barbour x Rockport Footwear Collection a few weeks back. Now, more details have surfaced about this limited series.
In all, 3 styles will be available – Cap Toe Boots, Plain Toe Boots, and Chukka Boots. Each to incorporate attributes such as Barbour hardware, heritage tartan plaids, and the signature waxed cotton fabric, all which made Barbour the leading outerwear supplier to the English Royal Family for over a century. Rockport then utilized its New England craftsman process to hand stitched each linings, cured each leather components, and rawhide laces. In addition to the traditional craftsmanship, all will include some 21 century technologies, like adiPRENE by adidas footbed (Rockport’s parent company) and proprietary Walkability outsole.
This special collection will be available starting next month at only 6 retailers in the US. See the full store listing below.
