One of the Málaga artist’s portraits of the lady Dora Maar with Cat fetched the second highest price for an artwork ever, selling for over $95.2 million in a May 2006 auction. His Head of a Woman sold for $29.1 million last November. The painting Tête de Femme, Head of a Woman of Dora Maar, up for auction amongst six others, is expected to fetch something between $13 and $17 million.
