Job Title: 2nd Shift Extrusion Operator Job Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 2nd shift Production Operators. In this role, you will be trained to operate a variety of extrusion equipment, ensuring production quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Operate and set up machines based on production orders.
Check operating controls and safety of equipment prior to operation.
Obtain materials for processing from inventory bins and report any issues.
Monitor material quality for defects and adjust machine parameters as needed.
Label and pack finished products per work order instructions.
Review work orders and drawings, resolving any conflicts.
Wear a respirator as required during machine setup.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
Comply with OHSA safety standards and notify supervisors of potential hazards.
Essential Skills
2 years of machine operator experience.
Experience working with large machines and materials.
Ability to operate, package, and handle materials.
Experience in extrusion, compounding, and general production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Experience in heavy labor, machine operating, carpentry, or construction.
Good attendance and reliability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Fast learner with patience and self-motivation.
Some power tool and mechanical skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.00/hr.
