Role Description

We have an opportunity for a full-time Administrative Assistant (bilingual English/Japanese) to support our sales and marketing teams in the US. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, handling phone communications, and ensuring effective communication across departments in LA and Japan.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, organizing files, and document and correspondence translation.
• Coordinate team meetings, events, and prepare agendas.
• Assist in project management through tracking deadlines and facilitating communication across multiple teams. Manage weekly business notes.
• Handle travel bookings and expense reporting.
• When in person, will maintain office supplies and manage inventory.
• Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• May need to work evenings/flexible hours to accommodate time differences. 

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Japanese (spoken and written)
• Deep understanding of Japanese business culture.
• Proven experience in Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.) 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Interest in consumer products, pop culture, and "kawaii" a plus.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in a similar role or industry is a plus

This role is currently remote but will become in-person in Los Angeles in the future. 

Flexibility with work hours is required. May at times be required to work late afternoon or evenings to accommodate Japan work hours.

Pay range $27.00 -$30.00 an hour
