Job Description

Staffmark is hiring an Apparel Pattern Maker in Chester, NY! We're looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented professional to join our design and production team. If you have a passion for garment construction and precision, this is your chance to make an impact on high-quality apparel products.

Pay: $25-$30/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Create and modify master patterns using AutoCAD and other CAD software
• Grade patterns across all sizes while maintaining fit and proportions
• Collaborate on fittings and adjust patterns as needed
• Maintain pattern files and optimize layouts to reduce fabric waste
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure patterns meet quality and production standards

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of apparel pattern-making experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Gerber, Lectra, or Optitex a plus
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and grading
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Degree or certificate in Fashion Design, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field preferred
