Role: Associate Creative Director

Location: Parsippany, NJ

OLIVER is hiring an Associate Creative Director - Design to join our team!

We are looking for someone who can develop original concepts and designs, oversee multiple projects through execution, and inspire a growing team. As the ACD you will be taking projects from brief to completion, providing new ideas and creativity while working closely with the client's brand guidelines.  This role requires exceptional creative ideation and evaluation skills you will presenting ideas so the ability to stay calm, cool, and collected under pressure is key.

• Working on a range of project from across the North America client base including insurance, hospitality, finance, retail and more
• Create original ideas for a range of projects including digital, social and in-store that delight customers and inspire
• Responsible for the full project lifecycle from concept to execution, this often means working projects through the production stage
• Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from the initial briefing
• Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the clients marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant, positive impact on the consumer, promoting the product or brand
• Pitch creative solutions in response to marketing strategies
• Provide leadership and direction to the design team
• Oversee and manage the preparation of all finished artwork files that will comply with the correct output specifications
• Capitalize on social media platform updates and pop culture trends and execute quickly for clients 
• Lead brainstorms as needed

What you need to be great in this role:

• 6-8 years of experience taking ideas from concept through to execution
• A highly creative designer with the ability to take and positively influence client briefs with your own innovative ideas
• Confident in bringing your own ideas and creativity to projects whilst working within a broad range of design guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral
• Strong client liaison, at least 5 years of experience presenting to clients with a proven track record of developing strong client relationships and a consistent record of taking, interpreting and delivering design projects within agreed time frames
• Effectively organizing and prioritizing workloads to manage client delivery whilst simultaneously influencing clients with their own ideas and conceptual creativity
• A joy of digging in, whether that is re-sizing images, presenting to a client or coming up with the big idea. 
• Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion
• Ability to take, interpret and deliver design projects within agreed deadlines
• Attention to detail with the ability to work under own initiative
• Excellent project management skills
• At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $114,750.00 to $128,250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.
