Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bricklaying, block work, stonework, and other masonry techniques. You should be able to read blueprints, follow safety protocols, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and other materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, chimneys, and other structures
• Mix and apply mortar, grout, and other bonding materials
• Cut and shape materials to fit specific measurements
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and layout
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, quality, and durability
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized worksite
• Collaborate with supervisors to complete projects on time

Requirements:

• Minimum [5] years of professional masonry experience
• Strong knowledge of various masonry tools, materials, and techniques
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Reliable transportation
• OSHA certification (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Hours: Mon - Thurs 6:30 am to 4:30 pm; Fridays as needed.
