Job Description

Reporting to the Strategic Business Analyst Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for understanding business variables through rigorous analysis and sharing this understanding so that business leadership may make fact-based decisions. This role will provide support for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following

• Create new reports and maintain existing reporting.
• Performs general analysis of finance reports for various departments such as manufacturing, engineering, finance, sales, and marketing.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly presentations.
• Develop tools for streamlining financial processes and planning.
• Budgeting including linking strategic plans with financial plan.
• Forecasting revenues, profits, and cash flow, including development and tracking of metrics.
• Performs ad hoc reviews using market data and competitive industry data.
• Apply external perspective and maintain knowledge of the segment's competitive environment, market conditions, customers, and profit drivers.
• Help to develop useful AI tools in an effort to streamline workflows and add to business efficiency.
• Maintains and develops new reports and automations in CRM (Salesforce).
• Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Accounting or Finance, preferably MBA. Experience with JDE preferred. Additional knowledge with SQL and report writing software is a plus.

Experience

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI
• Familiarity with Azure, SQL, ERP Systems and Salesforce a Plus
• Demonstrated data analytics skills
