Job Description

Our client is looking for a strong and experienced Sr. Accountant who can grow into an Accounting Manager. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $48 to $57 per hour.

• Ensures integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactions
• Compiles and analyzes account information
• Manages general ledger including account set-up and posting functions
• Support month-end and year-end close including management of tasks maintained in closing checklist
• Maintain accurate fixed assets records and ensure subledger is reconciled to general ledger

• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities, set priorities, and react to challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA track preferred
• 5 years or more general accounting experience required
• Microsoft Dynamics Nav or comparable accounting software experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
