As a division of Chesley Fence, one of the oldest fence companies in our region, we are continually committed to providing only the best quality services and customer care. Since 1967 weve been installing all styles of fence, gates and specialty items in the St. Louis and Metro-East area.

Job Summary:

Our commercial fence installers will be working on a crew to install commercial fencing including vinyl, aluminum, and chain-link. You will be responsible for performing physical tasks and assist in the repair, replacement and install of our full line of commercial fence products.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Responsible for cleanliness and organization of jobsites, workspaces, and company vehicles
• Handling and transporting materials and equipment
• Handle and use power tools (such as Jack hammers, drills, saws, etc.) in a safe manner
• Use machinery (e.g., skid steer) when needed
• Inspect trucks/trailer each morning to ensure that it is loaded safely and correctly per the job order
• Install fence panels, gates and posts according to Chesley Commercial Fence & Rail standards
• Measure and lay out fence lines according to fence job order
• Assist with warranty and repairs as needed
• Unload and clean truck/trailer safely and correctly at the end of each day
• Interact with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner
• Reading and following plans, blue prints or scopes of work
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Previous experience is desirable, but not required-most skills can be taught on the job
• Must be able to read plans, follow verbal instructions and obey applicable safety regulations
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to pass a background check (No felonies or sex offenses)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods, repetitive tasks and motions etc.)
• Strong desire to learn and do a quality job
• Ability to take and follow directions
• Be on time and ready to work every day
• Great attitude and strong work ethic
• Must be a self-starter, motivated individual, with ability to stay busy and efficient

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $18-$24 per hour starting pay - based on experience
