Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Director of Business Development & Physician Services for Methodist Healthcare System who creates business development processes for the facility as it contemplates adding or growing programs/services. This position will assess and develop business plans for new programs/services. Works with hospital Executive Team and key physician leaders to identify growth opportunities and facilitates positive and cooperative business interaction with key stakeholders in the target market. What You Will Do In Your Role:

• Builds and maintains a high functioning team for multiple areas under span of Researches and assesses market for opportunities to expand existing programs/services or add new ones.
• Designs focused, effective plans that support all hospital products and service line areas, and directs a well-organized approach for all business development activities.
• Responsible for leading business development activities, consistently meets or exceeds established goals; increases utilization of hospital service lines.
• Manages the development of business development strategy and objectives; develops and implements annual plan for service line growth to include community partnership opportunities. (i.e. large employers, governmental programs)
• Develops and maintains the means to integrate physicians with the facility for the purpose of improving care and developing new or existing programs/services.
• Gathers health care market intelligence in primary market of facility and reports same to facility executives to assist in strategy development relative to market opportunities.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in health administration, business or related field of study required. Master's Degree in business administration or healthcare administration preferred.
• Five (5) years of demonstrated experience with strategic planning and business and growth development.
• Three (3) years of job-specific experience in the healthcare industry.
• Two (2) years of related management/leadership responsibility.
