Electronic/Electrical Assembler

Location: Orangeburg, NY

Pay Rate: $19–$21/hour

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (2 openings)
• 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM (4 openings; training on 1st shift required)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our fast-paced production team. You will be responsible for assembling high-quality electronic products by following detailed instructions and utilizing hand tools. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of schematics and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions and schematics to accurately assemble products.
• Utilize hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) to install components.
• Ensure components are received from the prep department.
• Operate machinery as needed for assembly tasks.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality procedures.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Prior Electronic Assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics .
• Skilled in the use of hand tools for assembly.
• Experience with machine operation in a production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with production machinery and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to interpret show layouts and work with small components.
• Comfortable working in a repetitive motion environment due to soldering and fine assembly tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
