Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of forklifts and handling materials efficiently in a warehouse setting.
Duties:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
- Perform shipping and receiving duties as needed
- Operate equipment such as Hi-Lo, cherry pickers, and reach trucks
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks when required
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory tracking
- Experience with loading and unloading procedures
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts including Hi-Lo, cherry pickers, and reach trucks
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory control
- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks efficiently
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
