About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Business Development for Cybersecurity and Privacy. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the business development function within a global practice group, with a focus on generating new revenue and enhancing the brand profile in the areas of cybersecurity, privacy, information governance, eDiscovery, information technology, eCommerce, and intellectual property. The successful candidate will be highly visible and partner-facing, supporting both day-to-day needs and strategic go-to-market initiatives. Key responsibilities include tracking and supporting go-to-market strategies, developing compelling messaging to drive awareness and recognition, facilitating the bid process, and assisting in the execution of business development initiatives to create awareness of the sector's strengths. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will be a confident and persuasive business development manager with significant experience in cybersecurity and privacy. A proven track record of developing deep, productive relationships with key stakeholders and clients is essential. The role involves collaborating with lead lawyers, providing input on cross-sell opportunities, and requires the ability to work with regional and global BD team members. The Head of Business Development will be instrumental in expanding the portfolio of services provided and must be adept at creating and executing initiatives that align with the firm's strategic goals. The position is highly dynamic and offers the opportunity to make a substantial impact within the organization.
