TradeSTAR is partnering with an established, highly respected Texas contractor to bring on entry-level and early-career Voice & Data Technicians who are eager to learn, work hard, and grow into Level II, Lead Technician, or Project Manager roles.

Their low-voltage division specializes in network cabling, commercial AV, and security solutions, supporting some of the largest and most recognizable buildings in Texas. Your Role As a Level I Voice & Data Technician, you'll be an essential part of the team, supporting network and data center operations including moves, adds, and changes. You'll gain hands-on experience with:
• Installing fiber optic and Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a patch cables
• Assisting with pre-terminated fiber cassette installations
• Terminating and testing patch panels
• Installing cable support structures
• Performing rack-and-stack builds
• Supporting data servers, switches, and fiber panels
This role is perfect for technicians who want to learn by doing and grow quickly in the low-voltage field
What You Bring • Preferred: 1-2 years of Voice & Data or Data Center experience
• Entry-level or Level I/II experience welcomed
• Exposure to running and terminating fiber optic cabling
• Ability to multitask and follow direction on fast-paced job sites
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Familiarity with telecommunications systems
• Experience using Fluke testers is a plus
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
