TheraEx Staffing Services - APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Clinic Dermatology for a locum tenens job in Valencia, California.
Job Description & Requirements Job Details:
•Pay: $120 Hr.
•Coverage Dates: ASAP – 3 Months with the option to extend
•Setting: Clinic Patients
•Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (30 minute lunch)
•Possible first few weeks of training in Pan City
•Daily Responsibilities: Candidates with Dermatology experience are required- Need clinical EXP not cosmetic EXP; Candidates will see patients encountering Acne - Will prescribe Accutane, warts, and keloids – mix on consults, routines, and follow-ups
•Patients per shift: Average 20-28 patients per day. Will see patients in 15-minute slots with time set aside after every two patients for mentor time or breaks. Providers will also need to manage their in-basket (Emails, Follow-ups with departments and patients) daily.
•EMR: Epic
•Credentialing timeframe: Estimated 90 Days upon application submitted
Requirements:
•Active unrestricted CA License
•Active BLS certifications
•Minimum 3 years of experience
•Board Certified
•Full-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.
•Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
