This Position Reports to: Production Supervisor
The Tool Room is responsible for the modification, fabrication and repair of various types of tools, parts and equipment to keep production continuous on the shop floor across several different departments. Executing assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines. Maintaining safe working attitude and environment in the performance of daily activities. Conducting shop floor operations in compliance with health and safety guidelines and reports and non-compliance. Repairing and replacing injection mold fixtures and components. Fabricating custom designs based on drawings under guidance of senior level machinists.
High school diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of experience with set-up and operation of manual mills and lathes or CNC. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to follow fabrication plan with supervision. Ability to learn how to properly use various inspection tools to verify that parts are being fabricated to blueprint specifications. CNC Machining experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of injection molding operations is a plus but not required.

Shift - 1st shift (Monday - Friday) - 7.30 am to 4.00 pm. Pay - $20-$23 based on experience.
