Manufacturing & Packaging Engineer

We’re hiring a Manufacturing & Packaging Engineer who thrives both on the production floor and at the desk. You’ll drive packaging process improvements, support new product launches, and maintain quality and efficiency across automated lines. This role goes beyond packaging design. You’ll build and validate systems, lead cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure smooth operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support packaging systems for new product development, process improvement, and compliance
• Develop, validate, and qualify packaging materials, containers, and tooling for automated lines
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for packaging-related issues
• Lead cost-reduction and quality improvement initiatives on the floor
• Monitor packaging performance using metrics like yield, downtime, and defect rates
• Build and manage Gantt charts for product launches and cross-functional timelines
• Collaborate with quality, regulatory, and operations to ensure standards are met

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
• Experience in CPG, OTC, or pharma manufacturing environments a plus
• Deep familiarity with packaging automation, sealing, and inspection systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and project management skills
• Understanding of FDA, ISO, and sustainability guidelines related to packaging a plus
