Position Summary

The Outreach Manager in the Central Coast Market is responsible for providing exceptional representation and sales outreach to practice referral sources for Pacific Eye Surgeons, ADV Vision, Kings Eye and Sierra Eye Group. In this role, the Outreach Manager will own and manage an outreach territory with assigned referring doctors (MDs, ODs and Nurse Practitioners.) and prospects. Through a combination of sales, promotion, outreach coordination and communication initiatives this position will drive new referrals to UVP practices and grow the referral network within the Central Coast territory.

In this capacity, the Outreach Manager will manage the sales territory by creating and executing a territory plan to include engagement with referring doctors, achieving productivity requirements and the initiation of joint call events with UVP providers.

The position requires strategic and creative thinking, outstanding interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of practice management software and CRM tools is required, and a strength in Microsoft products (including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is needed. The position reports locally to the Director of Outreach and Marketing in California and serves as part of the Marketing and Outreach team, reporting to UVPs SVP of Marketing and Communications (based in San Luis Obispo, CA).

Essential Responsibilities and Duties


  • Represent UVP and affiliated practices within the assigned Central Coast territory, developing strong, ongoing relationships with referring physicians and provider offices, including PCPs, ODs, dermatologists, endocrinologists, and nurse practitioners.
  • Communicate and sell ophthalmology services (including Cataract, LASIK & Glaucoma) with a view to securing ongoing patient referrals in a Central Coast territory.
  • Develop engagement plans and strategies to grow referrals for the sales territory.
  • Respond promptly to referring provider inquiries ensuring timely resolution and exceptional service.
  • Track and manage incoming referrals (via phone and email) in collaboration with the practices Outreach and Patient Access Teams, ensuring every referral is accurately documented and followed through.
  • Support referring physician events and continuing education (CE) programs, coordinating logistics, communication, and materials to ensure smooth execution and professional representation.
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Marketing and Practice Operations team to identify sales opportunities, overcome barriers and improve referral conversion.
  • Maintain and manage co?management partner lists, ensuring each referring providers preferences and partnership terms are accurately recorded and respected.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Ophthalmology with the ability to communicate effectively with Eyecare and Medical Professionals.
  • Master the LeadSquared CRM platform.


Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or Healthcare Administration).
  • 2+ years of healthcare sales or physician liaison experience required ophthalmology or specialty healthcare experience highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in territory management, relationship development, and account growth.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet referral goals.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation for daily field travel.



Compensation & Benefits

This full?time position offers a competitive base salary with bonus potential of up to 40%, bringing total target compensation to approximately $100,000 annually, depending on performance and experience.
