BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K The Material Handler is responsible for moving and advancing materials, place on an automated manufacturing line or will pack and label materials by hand and perform housekeeping functions. JOB DUTIES: - Strictly comply with all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements in the manufacturing environment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supplying raw materials to production lines to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Adhere to SOPs for the safe and efficient transport of Work-In-Process (WIP) materials throughout all stages of manufacturing.
- Attend and actively participate in daily pre-shift production meetings.
- Apply and maintain 5S standards across all production work areas.
- Immediately report any lost, damaged, or non-conforming raw materials to the Supervisor.
- Accurately track daily production performance and submit required reports to the Supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper care and daily cleaning of tools and equipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: - Must demonstrate responsibility and accountability.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Position requires frequent standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work in a non–climate-controlled environment.
- Previous extrusion experience is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Frequently will push, pull, carry, and lift 50lbs.
- Frequent walking, standing, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive movements
- Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Frequently must be able to work in moderate noise, up to 83 decibels.
- Exposure to noise environment requires hearing protection.
- Must be able and willing to work in non-temperature-controlled environment, exposed to weather conditions.
