Job Title: Operator I(Medical Device)
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Location:  Temecula, CA 92591
Pay Rate: $19.25/hr on w2(without Benefits)
Shift: Start between 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM | End between 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Job Description

This is a non-exempt position responsible for producing high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Under close supervision, the Operator I may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.

Work is performed according to specified and standardized procedures, with assignments reviewed continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and test medical device components.
• Ensure job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date.
• Communicate clearly with all levels of manufacturing management, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude with internal and external customers.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use proper safety devices.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
• Keep accurate production and quality records for traceability.
• Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience (medical device preferred but not required).
  • Note: Experience in warehouse, forklift operation, or material handling is not relevant for this role.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using microscopes and basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to prioritize work and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Must be flexible to work 8–9 hour shifts.
• Must pass an eye exam and color vision test .
• Must disclose any upcoming vacation or days off during the intake process.
