Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and support overall patient health through collaborative care. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, compassionate, and eager to work in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration)
• Prescribe corrective lenses and manage contact lens fittings
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists within Hillside Medical Group
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Provide education and counseling on eye health and preventive care

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Texas Optometry License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to high-quality patient care
• New graduates and experienced providers welcome to apply
