Job Description

• JOB SUMMARY
  
  • Collects and processes blood and other laboratory samples; enters physician orders in Meditech accurately; accurately labels and processes specimens; maintains confidentiality for patient data; and displays a professional image and attitude when performing ALL duties/responsibilities.
• QUALIFICATIONS
  
  • Education
    
    • High school graduate with sufficient knowledge of English, Spelling, Typing, and Math. Certification in Phlebotomy preferred.
  • Training and Experience
    
    • Some phlebotomy experience preferred.Completion of Phlebotomy training through an accredited program.
  • Health and Background Requirements
    
    • Employment contingent upon successful completion of:
      
      • Physical
      • Background Check
    • Must be physically able to perform all job duties as assigned.
