Responsibilities Use modeling, simulation and data analytics methodologies & tools including statistical and probabilistic analyses. Serve as a technical specialist supporting other functional design groups during all stages of the airplane product development and support lifecycle. Responsible for aiding in determining program technical performance measures (TPMs) such as schedule reliability, airplane operational availability & maintenance cost. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an ABET (or similar) accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. 10 or more years' related work experience in an engineering field 5 or more years of Reliability Engineering experience in commercial aviation Experience in airplane systems design or engineering analysis (e.g. Propulsion, Electrical Power, Mechanical, Network, Fuels, Pneumatic, Interiors, Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Avionics, Fuels, etc.) Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) experience in commercial airplane certification. Proficient in FTA software tools such as CAFTA, ReliaSoft or FaultTree+. Experience in FTA integration for commercial airplanes. Experience utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
