Job Description
We are a reputable, Portland based, property restoration company specializing in structural repairs for properties with damages caused by water, fire and storms, as well as exterior repairs, reconstruction and remodeling. Our growing company is looking for an experienced Restoration Carpenter to join our team.

Desired Skills and Experience:
-Demolition and clean up
-Finish Carpentry - trim, baseboard, doors & casing
-Framing - dry rot, walls, sub floors, decks & fences
-Roofing - minor shingle repairs, comp roof replacement
-Siding/Windows - vinyl windows, T1-11, Hardi Plank,
-Drywall - small patches, repairs, and light texture
-Flooring - Laminate, Vinyl Plank, Hardwood & Vinyl
-Light Electrical - Outlet & Switches, light fixtures, simple repairs
-Light Plumbing - Installing toilet, sinks, faucets
-Cabinets - repair cabinets, read cabinet plans, install kitchen and vanities
-Hardware - cabinet knobs and pulls, door hardware, bath hardware
-Countertops - knowledge of solid surface a plus
-Tile and grout - backsplash, small bath floors, small repairs
-Materials loading and unloading
Requirements:
-Strong communication skills
-Applicant must possess strong people skills and be able to successfully interact with homeowners, project managers, and sub-contractors
-Previous insurance repair experience a plus
-Excellent time management
-Excellent customer service
-General construction and framing experience
-Remodel and/or property restoration work
-Valid driver's license
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Must be able to manage and complete multiple tasks daily
-Strong customer service skills
-Strong organizational skills
