Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Promote and support our high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling, building loyalty and long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is achieved by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling our premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n
1. \nGuide each customer through RWSC’s Ultimate Fit Experience
\n
2. \nProvide appropriate accessory recommendation, educate customers on the benefits of each
\n
3. \nGenerate Industrial Sales Leads
\n
4. \nAchieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals
\n
5. \nMaintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards
\n
6. \nMaintain proficiency with product knowledge, technical, and operating standards through continuous learning
\n
7. \nMaintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations
\n
8. \nProvide direct support in the daily operations of the retail store
\n

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (following duties are required on all positions):

\n
1. \nObtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSC’s electronic communication software
\n
2. \nMaintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards
\n
3. \nUphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values
\n
4. \nWillingness to perform additional duties as required
\n
5. \nConduct self-accordance to RWSC policies
\n
6. \nBuild collaborative relationships between you and key people with whom you’ll work or interact with
\n

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

\n
1. \nHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
\n
2. \n1-2 years relevant experience
\n
3. \nResults oriented
\n
4. \nEffective Written/Verbal Communication
\n
5. \nComputer Utilization
\n

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES:

\n
1. \nThorough knowledge of Red Wing Shoe Company’s mission, values, and organization structure
\n
2. \nProfit and loss knowledge
\n
3. \nNaturally curious, has passion for new ideas, and looks to drive growth

\n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

\n
1. \nLifting 50 pounds, bending/squatting to lace shoes, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing a ladder, standing for long periods of time
\n
2. \nHousekeeping duties including but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping & waxing floors, washing windows, use of disinfectant chemicals, discarding of all trash, maintaining recycling, installing, and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.
