Job Summary
Barings Real Estate, currently managing $46.5B in AUM, offers a broad spectrum of solutions across private real estate debt and equity within commingled funds, separate accounts, and joint ventures. Barings research-based and locally executed investment approach seeks to uncover relative value and deliver compelling risk-adjusted returns to our clients.
The Client Portfolio Management (CPM) for Real Estate will, in conjunction with Sales play a lead role in promoting and distributing Barings capabilities to both institutional and wealth markets, primarily within the US. The role will further support colleagues across both domestic and global markets to raise awareness and support investors in their appraisal of Barings US Real Estate capabilities
The candidate must be a Real Estate Subject matter expert, and therefore must understand the role Barings Real Estate products can provide to serve and solve for the needs of investors’ Real Estate allocations. The candidate must have the ability to communicate the firms Real Estate products and solutions proficiently in both written and oral form with prospective and existing clients.
The role will ensure brand awareness primarily within US market and position the platform for growth and innovation.
The CPM will ensure the ability to respond to changes in market and will work with our Real Estate Investment Team, CPM colleagues and regional sales teams to identify opportunities to support the firms fund raising efforts.
Demonstrated long-term relationships with senior, real-estate-specific decision makers (particularly relating to real estate equity) is essential for this role.
