Remote SEO Director Position This is a 100% remote position for an SEO Director, primarily for US-based employees, preferably in the Eastern Time Zone, with consideration for Central Time Zone candidates. Candidates must have agency experience or have managed SEO for multiple sites simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on technical SEO expertise. We are a rapidly growing digital marketing agency seeking a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively. This role offers high growth potential for the right individual. SEO Director Responsibilities: Provide SEO expertise in keyword research, reporting, link building campaigns, conversion goals, on-site and off-site optimization, social media, local search, video optimization, and social media optimization. Execute tactical and strategic initiatives including link building, content development, site analysis, and other SEO practices. Implement on-site and off-site SEO tactics for new and existing projects. Manage onsite implementation for new client projects. Monitor SEO trends and best practices to ensure top rankings and identify new opportunities, proactively researching issues and developing solutions. Perform directory cleanup and citation building. Provide monthly web analytics reports to clients. Optimize social media channels and develop strategies for user acquisition. This role involves hands-on contribution with the potential to manage staff in the future. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of SEO experience. Experience managing multiple clients and projects in an agency setting. Ability to develop and implement SEO processes. Background in digital marketing agencies. Technical SEO experience is essential. Knowledge of paid search management and Google AdWords is a plus. Expertise in SEO best practices. Proficiency with Excel, Google Webmaster Tools, and Google Analytics.
