Job Description

Controlled Holdings, an ‘Indiana Best Places to Work’ and an award-winning distributor of HVAC controls, is seeking a skilled and motivated SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This position will be responsible for developing and executing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and enhance online visibility.

Details, Details

• Perform comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for content and technical SEO improvements.
• Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies, including metadata optimization, keyword placement, and internal linking.
• Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, duplicate content, and site speed.
• Analyze and report on website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics
• Build and manage a backlink strategy to increase domain authority and search rankings.
• Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
• Create and execute strategies to improve local SEO and optimize Google Business Profiles.
• Monitor and track organic performance KPIs, providing insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with web developers, marketing, and sales teams to align SEO efforts with overall company goals.

What We Are Looking For

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a similar role.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, Screaming Frog
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
