Job Description

Award-winning PR & Digital Media Agency is seeking a full-time Social Media Account Executive with 2-3 years of experience at a digital marketing, advertising and/or PR agency or client-side marketing/advertising/digital/social media department for our home office in Addison. We are looking for candidates with 2-3 years of previous social media experience in a professional setting. Candidates with previous agency or restaurant brand experience are highly preferred. This job requires attention to detail, being insanely organized, passionate about all things social media and creative to the core. We’re looking for someone that understands and enjoys the ever-evolving industry of social media and actively applies their personal social media use to their work. The Social Media Account Executive will report directly to SAEs, Account Supervisors and our VP of Digital Marketing.

Champion operates on a Hybrid schedule – 3 days in-office (located in Millenium Tower in Addison) and 2 days WFH. You will be required to follow the social team’s regular schedule of being in-office Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly. Please note: we’re moving to Old East Dallas in April and will continue to operate on a Hybrid schedule from the new office.

General Responsibilities

  • Take initiative on tasks with minimal direction from supervisor
  • Mentor interns and specialists on the social team
  • Develop campaign and quarterly recaps that showcase the agency’s contributions to client’s marketing and business goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to deliver an exceptional client experience

Account Management Responsibilities

  • Lead client calls, update status reports for calls and provide social media recaps with deliverables to Account Leads following all calls
  • Respond to client requests and proactively anticipate client needs
  • Provide social media strategy recommendations for clients regularly

Social Media Responsibilities (75%)

  • Generate creative, eye-catching and engaging content across multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, X (Twitter), LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Meet deadlines for monthly social media content calendars and influencer marketing efforts in collaboration with the Creative, Digital and Account Teams
  • Support content and campaign ideation, new channel launches and integration of influencer campaigns
  • Ensure consistency, relevancy, and accuracy across all messaging and social touchpoints
  • Monitor relevant daily social activity conversations for your assigned accounts and identify opportunities for deeper and expanded engagement
  • Support day-to-day activities and setup of social media accounts
  • Support the creation of monthly analytics and provide strategic recommendations to uplevel results in future content
  • Stay on top of ongoing trending topics to leverage for content, especially on TikTok and Instagram
  • Execute social media-related giveaways and facilitate giveaway winners
  • Support social media key performance indicators (KPIs), track social media metrics and communicate results of organic marketing efforts
  • Support the execution of paid and digital social campaigns when applicable

Influencer Marketing Responsibilities (25%)

  • Research potential new influencer partners on behalf of our clients to create content for trade and paid opportunities
  • Utilize influencer marketing platform (Tagger) to manage, monitor and expand the agency’s robust database of influencer partners
  • Work directly with influencers to develop content, share campaign details, negotiate terms and manage collaborations for the client
  • Develop, negotiate and manage partnership, working closely with Account Teams to ensure proper procedures are followed

Job Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or related field
  • REQUIRED: 2-3 years of previous social media or influencer marketing experience in a professional setting
  • REQUIRED: Must be willing to work nonstandard business hours (with comp time provided) when necessary, sometimes including nights and weekends – social media doesn’t close at 5 o’clock!
  • Previous experience with designing in Canva or other tools is highly preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex social media concepts
  • Knowledge of social media channels including: Facebook, Instagram (including Stories, Reels, Live), X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant platforms
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Slides/Sheets/Drive, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in social media management platforms like Sprout, MomentFeed (Uberall), Basecamp, Later and influencer management/research platforms like Tagger and Klear
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of PR and influencer marketing and how it relates to social media
  • Strong content marketing/visual storytelling skills
