SOAL Team Culture
We seek a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life.
Pay: $55 - $100 per visit (35 - 60 minutes each visit)Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Provide therapy sessions to patients with speech and language disorder.
Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to improve patients' communication skills.
Collaborate with SOAL's multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process.
Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication outside of therapy sessions.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
Valid ASHA Certification.
Previous experience in pediatrics and home health setting is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of speech therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Ability to assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
