Tax Preparer (Seasonal)
$22-$28 per hour | Central Illinois

A well-established, locally owned company in Central Illinois is looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to help during the upcoming tax season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys tax work and wants flexibility without sacrificing steady hours.

Pay & Schedule

$22-$28 per hour , based on experience
Flexible scheduling available (part-time or full-time)

What You'll Be Doing

Prepare individual and/or business tax returns
Review client information for accuracy and completeness
Identify tax-saving opportunities while staying compliant with federal and Illinois regulations
Communicate clearly with clients about tax filings and requirements
Use professional tax software to prepare and file returns

What We're Looking For

Previous experience preparing tax returns (professional or seasonal)
Solid understanding of federal and Illinois tax rules
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple returns during peak season
Professional, client-focused communication skills
