Responsibilities: • Drive a tractor-trailer safely to transport construction debris from local transfer stations in Sarasota & Manatee counties to a landfill in Arcadia • Ensure excellent customer service by effectively communicating and coordinating with Dispatch, Supervisor, and driver team on various routes and schedules • Oversee the loading and unloading of waste materials at designated facilities • Perform thorough pre-and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to guarantee proper functionality and address maintenance issues promptly • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and promptly report any safety concerns to leadership Qualifications: • Must possess a valid CDL class A license with at least 2 years of driving experience • Proficient in reading maps and utilizing navigational devices • Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and some holidays • Strong time management skills to efficiently and safely complete assigned routes • Ability to adapt to changes quickly • Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations • Team player mentality, fostering respectful interactions and collaboration with colleagues Compensation: $22 - $25 an hour
