GENERAL FUNCTION:

The main TM coordinator role is supporting the Commercial Team in creating a strong in-store presence with customization execution and responsible for planning & execute commercial events implementation (i.e. buying event, trade shows and trunk shows).

This position will require interaction with mostly RSM’s and sometime customers and reps, supporting sales team across Canadian market.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company’s merchandising and marketing objectives are implemented and achieved. This includes managing the distribution of brand assets (POP, Window displays, etc.), in a manner consistent with the company’s directions.
• Order proper customization material to support customer/rep requests. Track orders and follow up on delivery and invoicing

• Gather and order digital packs to support customer social media & marketing agreements.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors for marketing needs (Invitations, event materials, mockups, status of printed materials, site surveys, specialized shipping, etc)

• Help reps and customers on how to access and download assets from the OMNIA platform (educate, communicate step by step guidance)
• Lead the planning & execution of commercial events (trade and trunk shows) as requested by sales leadership team with an assigned annual budget

• Manage the Tradeshow organization for Key accounts, Buying Groups, industry/association events including ordering of GWPs, all show support materials, managing details of shipping and inventory of items and liasing with warehouse team to execute seamless logistics

• Track all RSVPs for buying events, communicate with accounts for attendance and awareness of upcoming market events
• Manage the Tradeshow organization for Buying Groups, including ordering of GWPs for these events
• Work closely with sales team to ensure trade marketing programs are aligned with sales objective
• Manage the Generic Fixture System or any unit implementation with the assistance of the RSMs
• Managed trunk show kits utilization among reps
• Utilize Sales Force to analyze account sales to justify customization requests and identify opportunities

• Request, track and file gifting needs (holiday, trunk shows, charity requests)

Qualifications:

• 2 years relevant experience. Eyewear industry experience an asset
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (French and English)
• Presentation skills
• Strong visual merchandising skills
• Strong ability to problem solves, anticipate challenges in advance, and propose solutions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Highly professional and strong fashion sense
• Team player with strong leadership qualities
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
