\n\nJob Details:
\n• 2 years of ICU experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Patient ratios of 2-3 patients
\n• Weekend coverage required
\n• Must be willing to float to MS/Tele, ER (for critical care holds)
\n• Care for patients aged adolescents through geriatrics
\n• Daily census of 15 patients in 20-bed unit
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH, 6 hours total stroke education, EKG course completion
\n• Cerner charting system experience required
\n• Community hospital experience preferred
\n• Trauma Level II experience preferred
\n• Must demonstrate competency in arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
\n• Experience required with post-surgical care, emergency medications, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
\n• Skills include care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, and traumatic brain injury care
\n• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
\n• Local radius restriction: 50 miles
\n• Hard documentation deadline: Tuesday 4:30pm CST prior to start date

The facility offers extensive support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization focuses on delivering high-quality critical care to patients with complex medical conditions and provides educational resources for stroke care and EKG training when needed.
