Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring an active MA license and strong academic medical center background.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a large academic hospital setting
• Shifts are a day/evening rotation between 6:00 am and 11:30 pm, totaling 36 hours per week
• Rotation includes up to 2 weekend shifts per month
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• Must demonstrate ability to care for a variety of post-anesthesia patients in a high-acuity academic setting
• Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from the facility; local candidates will be paid at a reduced rate
• Parking is not validated in Boston; expect to pay for public parking or use public transportation
• Timekeeping is managed via UKG/Kronos
• Two professional references required for consideration

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active, unencumbered MA RN license in hand at the time of consideration; no conditional licenses accepted
• Current AHA BLS certification is required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• At least 1 year of recent PACU travel nurse experience
• At least 1 year of experience working in an academic medical center
• Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions for religious or medical reasons
