Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an outpatient rehabilitation team in Sioux City, Iowa. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care to patients with neurologic and orthopedic conditions. The average daily census is approximately 12 patients per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education
• Treat patients with neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses in an outpatient setting
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa PTA License (required)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience (required)
• Proven experience treating neurologic and orthopedic patients (required)
• BLS Certification (AHA) (required)
• Ability to work full-time day shifts
