Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Circulator for an adult operating room position, requiring at least one year of acute OR experience and a compact or OK RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an adult surgical operating room within a hospital setting
• Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Involvement in a Level 1 trauma environment with at least 6 months of Level 1 OR experience required
• Provides direct and indirect perioperative nursing care for adult patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures
• Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients
• Accountable for ongoing documentation and evaluation using the nursing process
• Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and procedure type
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for this position
• Scrub color requirements or dress code not specified
• Extensions beyond 26 weeks require a 6 month break before reapplying

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active RN license from Oklahoma or a compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Excellent understanding of AORN standards and perioperative nursing practices
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
