Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company procedures. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team of 5–10 employees, maintain strong communication with internal departments, and uphold operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate labor resources and maintain effective communication with temporary staffing agencies to meet daily and project-based workforce needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to stay informed about upcoming projects, forecast workload, and ensure on-time shipping and fulfillment.
• Train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Monitor team performance and quality metrics, identify process improvements, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Oversee inventory management, verifying accuracy through cycle counts and audits, and developing initiatives to improve inventory control and minimize discrepancies.
• Report regularly to upper management regarding performance metrics, staffing needs, and overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
