Job Description
Position Description: Class A CDL Truck Driver. The position includes HOME DAILY first shift operations for Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Safe operation of a commercial vehicle and the reliable delivery of our customers’ product
• Operate all warehouse equipment in safe manner
• Communicate safety issues to manager
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean working environment
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Class A CDL
• Customer service skills
• 21 Years Old
• No more than 3 moving violations or any serious moving violations in 36 months
• Safety driven and customer service oriented
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment
• Forklift experience.
Working Conditions:
• Repetitive work in a fast-paced environment with average warehouse temperature of 38-60 degrees F,
• Some manual labor with heavy lifting required (approximately 40 pounds)
• Safety equipment may be required
• Use of motor skills to safely drive in tight quarters
