We are looking for dedicated, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team at our shop facility located just outside Chattanooga, TN!

FMW Solutions is a railroad contracting and consulting firm offering mechanical and engineering design, diesel locomotive servicing and repair, rail operations, strategic planning support, marketing, public relations, safety compliance administration, and training, as well as alternative fuel technology and research. FMW is also an accomplished rail preservation resource, with expertise in the restoration and operation of historic equipment and steam locomotives.

Qualified individuals should have the following:

1. Ability to pass an SMAW plate 2g and 3g weld test;
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints;
3. Ability to fit and fabricate within 1/32" tolerance;
4. A background in visual inspection (even a small amount of experience is a plus);
5. Proficient in SMAW and FCAW;
6. An operational understanding of SWPS, WPS, WPQR;
   • Pipe fitting experience is a plus
7. Must be committed to working safely;
8. Must be able to follow instructions;
9. Must be a team player and a good communicator; and
10. Must be able to pass pre-screening and random drug and alcohol testing
