About the Role
We are hiring a Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager for our direct client to drive sales growth and develop innovative marketing strategies for their property. This role is responsible for attracting new guests, managing existing client relationships, and executing campaigns that increase brand visibility and revenue. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the hotel industry, digital marketing strategies, and sales management, particularly within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy rates, drive revenue, and enhance the hotel's market positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, OTAs (Online Travel Agents), and event planners to generate direct bookings and business.
  • Manage the hotel's digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media platforms to improve online visibility and engage with potential guests.
  • Coordinate and execute hotel promotions, special packages, and seasonal offers to attract targeted segments such as corporate travelers, group bookings, and leisure guests.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average daily rate (ADR), revenue per available room (RevPAR), and booking trends to optimize pricing strategies and ensure maximum profitability.
  • Oversee the hotel's website, ensuring it's user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for bookings. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the property management system (PMS) is seamlessly integrated with online booking engines.
  • Lead and manage the hotel's online reputation by responding to guest reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, and OTA sites.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns through multiple channels, including paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook), content marketing, and influencer collaborations.
  • Organize and oversee events, conferences, and promotions to drive business to the hotel, including both in-house and off-site events.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to create pricing strategies that align with market demand and optimize revenue.
  • Develop and maintain detailed sales forecasts and marketing reports for senior leadership, offering actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing or related hospitality roles.
  • Proven track record of success in driving hotel revenue through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, social media management, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software, booking engines, and property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Sabre, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management principles, including ADR, RevPAR, and forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling promotional content and sales presentations.
  • Experience in managing relationships with OTAs, corporate clients, and local businesses to drive bookings.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, revenue management, and guest services, to ensure alignment on goals.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand consumer behavior, and adjust marketing tactics based on results.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
