Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure our luxury hotel rooms and public spaces exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff (15-20 team members)
• Conduct room inspections to ensure quality standards and guest satisfaction
• Train new housekeeping staff on procedures, safety protocols, and service standards
• Create and manage daily work assignments and room cleaning schedules
• Monitor inventory levels for linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally and promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members
• Coordinate with front desk on room status updates and maintenance issues
• Assist with budget planning and cost control measures
• Maintain lost and found procedures
• Support special events and group bookings as needed

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years housekeeping experience with 1+ year in supervisory role
• Hotel or hospitality industry experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Luxury hotel or resort experience
• Experience with property management systems
• Certification in hospitality management or related field
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
