This position will serve as a technical lead on multiple projects of moderate size, or challenging portions of a major project. Responsibilities include technical project planning oversight, technical design, quality control, and the preparation of reports and bid sets. Support project managers by providing technical leadership. Conduct technical planning, analysis, design, and report preparation. Design complete projects, systems, components, or processes. Review and prepare project documents for conformity and quality. Manage stakeholder relationships within and outside Barge. Conduct on-site visits to monitor project progress. Direct CADD technicians in preparing project plans. Perform other duties as requested. Education & Experience Qualifications Minimum of 8 years engineering experience and a registered PE. Proficiency in resolving challenging issues through experience. Subject matter expert in a discipline or market practice area preferred. Stay informed on new methods and recommend practices or changes. Mentor and review work of junior staff. Technical lead on multi-phase or complex projects. Effective collaboration skills to meet objectives. Why join us?
