Summer Internship Program (8 weeks) Must live within 30 mins of our Englewood, CO office. Aveo Capital is a progressive financial planning firm with over 35 employees devoted to helping people expand what’s possible with money. Ideal candidates will have: - Completed two years of college-level education toward a related BA or BS degree
- Finished courses focused on CFP ®certification/financial planning, or business management, marketing, economics, communications, etc.
- Desire to work in the RIA industry post-graduation
- An anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026
- Have an interest and plans to join the RIA and/or financial services industry
- Knowledge of financial products and services, combined with extracurricular activities geared toward a career in the RIA and/or financial service industry
Your Life as an intern: - During your time as an intern, you’ll learn not only the techniques of financial planning, but also the unique ways Aveo does business.
- Preparation of Financial Plans, Investment Allocation models, Insurance proposals, and presentations for client meetings and other projects as assigned.
- You’ll learn our systems: Salesforce (our CRM), MoneyGuidePro (our financial planning software), DocuSign, Office 365, and many more.
- An aptitude for a fast-paced, high energy role, and possess an ability to multitask and complete projects both working in a team setting, and autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a desire to work in a dynamic environment.
A couple things to note about our Internship: - Ability to work full-time and on-site at Aveo's office in Englewood, CO during the eight-week program.
- Due to the nature of the work, this role will require you to work in person, so you will need to have reliable transportation.
- This is a seasonal role consisting of an 8 week program beginning in June ending in August.
- Full-time hours are expected, working Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
The Intern position typically requires the following qualifications: - To be considered for our internship programs you must have your high school diploma and be currently enrolled in college program, preferably pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, accounting, business or economics related field. Students that are currently enrolled in a CFP track program and that are in their Junior year will be prioritized upon application review.
- All applicants must be within driving distance of our Englewood, CO office, as this position requires in-person support. We are not open to relocation for this opportunity.

- You will be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Bonus is you have experience working in MoneyGuidePro financial planning software
- You will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
Upon completion of our internship program, you will have a working knowledge of the business units within a growing fee-only, independent, RIA firm. You will have developed entry level skills required in a professional setting. You will have a better understanding of their ideal career path with the newly gained experience setting them up for success right out of the gate. You will also have a network of lifelong partners invested in their career success to consult with.
