We’re hiring a Tax Accountant to support both the day-to-day compliance needs and the strategic tax function of a growing, dynamic manufacturing business. From provision work to audit support, you’ll play a key role in keeping tax operations accurate, compliant, and forward-thinking.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and file corporate, franchise, property, and sales/use tax returns across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
Support ASC 740 tax provision calculations, including deferred tax rollforwards and disclosures
Stay current on tax regulation changes and assess their impact on compliance and planning
Assist with federal and state audits, including documentation and responses
Maintain organized, audit-ready tax records and workpapers
Collaborate with finance, operations, and external advisors to ensure accuracy and alignment across teams
Help drive improvements in tax processes and reporting accuracy
Support internal control efforts related to tax, including SOX documentation and testing
What You’ll Bring:
?? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
?? CPA or active progress toward certification (preferred)
?? 2+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
?? Familiarity with ASC 740 and strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
?? Experience with tax software and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar is a plus)
?? Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset
?? Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
